Noren is tightly rooted in the Areni grape tradition of Armenia. It’s designed as a companion expression to the flagship Kutque wines, crafted from high-quality lots that aren’t selected for the flagship bottling, but still carry the same origin, farming discipline, and respect for the land’s natural rhythms.

Noren follows the same core pillars that define Kutque’s approach: dry-farmed, biodynamic vineyards; hand harvesting; minimal-intervention winemaking; and a living connection to the region’s historic winemaking benchmarks, including the Areni-1 cave complex.

Innovation & Technology

Noren’s innovation is ecological and craft-led, not industrial: dry-farming to encourage deeper roots and mineral clarity; biodynamic land stewardship (including integrated estate ecosystems); and hand harvesting guided by vine readiness. Winemaking is shaped by minimal intervention, natural fermentations, and traditional vessels, including Armenian karas and cement vessels chosen to preserve texture and varietal character rather than add heavy processing.
