KAMAR Business Center operates in the commercial real estate and premium office space sector. Established in central Yerevan, the project was conceived to bring international Class A office standards into a historically rich urban setting.
Key milestones include the restoration and integration of heritage façades from the early 20th century alongside a modern office structure, and becoming one of the first buildings in Armenia to achieve BREEAM certification, marking a step change in sustainable commercial development in the country.
The site itself carries a longer institutional history: it first opened its doors in 1910 and, over the following century, continued serving as a home for Armenia's financial sector through several eras, before its transformation into KAMAR. The new building was built, and it later served a succession of banking institutions through the Soviet period and into the 2000s. That continuity still shapes the character of the building today.
